THE MAGA SIGNAL
Five Republican presidential candidates faced off tonight in Miami in a debate hosted by NBC News and sanctioned by the Republican National Committee. The debate was moderated by “NBC Nightly News” anchor Lester Holt, “Meet the Press” moderator Kristen Welker and Hugh Hewitt, host of “The Hugh Hewitt Show” on Salem Radio Network. The biggest clashes were between former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, who split over foreign policy. Haley called Ramaswamy "scum" and he mocked her shoes.
The subpoenas issued by the House Oversight Committee seeks testimony from Hunter Biden and James Biden, who have been thrust into the middle of the investigation, which has focused intently on the finances of the president’s family. The committee also issued a subpoena for testimony from Rob Walker, a business associate of Hunter Biden. “The House Oversight Committee has followed the money and built a record of evidence revealing how Joe Biden knew, was involved, and benefited from his family’s influence peddling schemes. Now, the House Oversight Committee is going to bring in members of the Biden family and their associates to question them on this record of evidence,” Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., chairman of the committee, said.

A judge in Michigan is expected to hear arguments Thursday on whether Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson has the authority to keep Donald Trump’s name off state ballots for president. Activists are suing Benson in the Michigan Court of Claims to force her to keep Trump’s name off ballots and to assess Trump’s constitutional qualifications to serve a second term as president. Meanwhile, attorneys for the former president are demanding that Trump’s name be allowed on the 2024 Republican presidential primary ballot. Arguments were scheduled to begin Thursday morning in Grand Rapids before Judge James Robert Redford.
On October 7, Hamas terrorists were not the only ones who documented the war crimes they had committed during their deadly rampage across southern Israel. Some of their atrocities were captured by Gaza-based photojournalists working for the Associated Press and Reuters news agencies whose early morning presence at the breached border area raises serious ethical questions. What were they doing there so early on what would ordinarily have been a quiet Saturday morning? Was it coordinated with Hamas? Did the respectable wire services, which published their photos, approve of their presence inside enemy territory, together with the terrorist infiltrators? Did the photojournalists who freelance for other media, like CNN and The New York Times, notify these outlets? Judging from the pictures of lynching, kidnapping and storming of an Israeli kibbutz, it seems like the border has been breached not only physically, but also journalistically.
